Hurricane Irene a possible CATEGORY 4!

It looks like Hurricane Irene has spared Florida this time. However, North Carolina is directly in the projected path of Hurricane Irene and projected to be a Category 4 storm!

11 a.m. Advisory from the National Hurricane Center - IRENE continues east

The latest advisory has Hurricane Irene moving north east. It appears Florida may have avoided this storm! However, from past experience, we know that storms can change paths quickly. Stay tuned...

IRENE BECOMES A HURRICANE!

Tropical Storm Irene is now HURRICANE Irene. She has veered to the east and may miss making landfall in Florida. Now is a good time to make sure you are prepared for a Hurricane. Go buy your supplies. You should also contact your insurance agent IMMEDIATELY to make sure you the proper coverage for your home. Lastly, even if Hurricane Irene does not make landfall, Floridians will probably still feel winds and heavy rains. Therefore, bring in any loose items in your yard.
